| ROLLY UPDATE #6 Hello everyone! I hope you have a great Christmas celebrating our Savior's birth and the many blessings we all share. Here's a quick update on Rolly. Today marks a significant moment in the road to recovery. Rolly met with a highly renowned radiation doctor in the Metro Detroit area today to set a plan of treatment for the coming months. Thankfully enough, with all the information in hand, the experience left him feeling great relief and hope, not anxious or fearful. Rolly's radiation doctor has had lengthy discussions with all of Rolly's surgeons and family doctors that have been involved in this process so far. It gives Rolly great confidence to know that all of the skilled people caring for him are in unison, supporting a plan of hormone therapy for 3 months, followed by radiation on the prostate for 6 weeks. Of course, both of these treatments have significant side effects that will impact everyday life, but the overwhelming sense of things is that everyday activities may continue in much the same course for the foreseeable days ahead. There are an abundance of treatment options worth considering, but given the specifics of Rolly's case, we are peaceful and settled on this course. The hormone therapy will begin in early January, the radiation is set to begin in early April, and Rolly's faith in God, hope in healing, and love for you all will endure each and every one of these days ahead.
